Q. How do you provide the service so cheaply?
A. The service is hosted on specially adapted computer servers at a central location, each computer is equipped with special telephony hardware can service many lines at once, by combining lots of computers, the system can service hundreds of companies and thousands of callers.

Q. Do I need an extra telephone line to use the Virtual-PABX services from Activata?
A. No. In fact you don't even need one line if you have a mobile. When you use the Activata services, you are using their multiple line capabilities to deliver the calls to your specified number or mail box.

Q. Do I need a special telephone to use the Activata Virtual-PABX services?
A. No, although you will need to check that your phone is set to tone dialing for some services

Q. Do I need a PC?
A. You only need access to a PC connected to the Internet to Access Fax messages sent to your service. Voice messages are also sent via email, but you may access these via telephone.

Q. Do I need an Internet connection to run the Virtual-PABX services from Activata?
A. No. But if you receive Fax messages to your service you will need access to email to receive these.

Q. Do I need to be a UK resident to have a UK telephone number?
A. No. In fact, this is a great way to have a virtual presence in the UK without having an office here.

Q. Do I have to have a business to use the Activata Virtual-PABX services?
A. No. Anyone can use the services. For example, some clubs and community organisations could use it for special events and information promotion.

Q. Do I need training to setup the Virtual-PABX services?
A. No. We set the service up for you, you just need to supply us with details of how you want the system configured, an advisor will be happy to go through the easy questionnaire over the phone, the whole process takes less than 10 minutes.

Q. How quickly can the service be setup and running for me.?
A. Turnaround is usually 24hrs before you are ready and live with your new phone service, sometimes we get very busy so please allow for up to 5 day.
